On Sunday, 19 July 2020, in the evening at 21:40, in Zarasų district municipality, on the Zarasai–Kopūstinė–Turniškė–Salakas regional road (kilometre 20), a Subaru Legacy rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Subaru (15 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
