On Sunday, 26 July 2020, in the morning at 9:22, in Klaipėda, on H. Manto street near No. 96, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Space Star and a Honda HR-V. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.10‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
