On Monday, 27 July 2020, in the afternoon at 16:20, in Mažeikių district municipality, Renavo village, on Židikų street, a JCB hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the JCB (15 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet.
