On Tuesday, 28 July 2020, in the afternoon at 11:59, in Širvintų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 54.50), a Land Rover Freelander registered in Latvia rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Land Rover (28 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
