On Wednesday, 29 July 2020, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Vilkaviškio district municipality, Patunkiškių village, a Volkswagen Golf Plus rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (18 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.19‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
