On Friday, 7 August 2020, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on Kovo 11-osios street near No. 102, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW X5 3.0D and a Solaris Trollino 12. Two people were injured — a 78-year-old passenger of the Solaris (treated as an outpatient) and a 62-year-old passenger of the Solaris (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the BMW (4 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
