On Tuesday, 11 August 2020, in the afternoon at 15:45, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zapyškis–Šakiai national road (kilometre 13), a Honda Accord registered in Estonia rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
