On Saturday, 22 August 2020, in the evening at 21:37, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 37), in a roadworks zone, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mazda Premacy and an Audi. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Mazda (37 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
