On Wednesday, 2 September 2020, in the afternoon at 12:06, in Kaunas, on Pramonės pr., at the junction with Draugystės street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Renault Master and a Chrysler PT Cruiser. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 61-year-old driver of the Renault (28 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
