On Friday, 4 September 2020, in the morning at around 9:00, in Kaunas, on Kovo 11-osios street near No. 54, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Subaru Forester and a BMW 320D. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Subaru (19 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
