On Saturday, 5 September 2020, in the evening at 17:48, in Šilutės district municipality, Čiūtelių village, on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda national road (kilometre 201.70), a Citroen Xsara Picasso rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Citroen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
