On Monday, 22 June 2020, in the afternoon at 14:49, in Klaipėda, on Pajūrio street near No. 9, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW and a car. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
