On Thursday, 2 July 2020, in the morning at around 7:00, in Marijampolės municipality, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai main road (kilometre 58.50), an Audi 80 Avant rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the Audi 80 Avant, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
