On Saturday, 19 September 2020, in the afternoon at 11:20, in Kupiškio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Pavašuokiai–Subačius regional road (kilometre 22), a Mazda 2 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 75-year-old driver of the Mazda (25 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
