On Tuesday, 22 September 2020, at night at 0:56, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 40), a Nissan Primera rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Nissan, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.52‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
