On Saturday, 10 October 2020, in the afternoon at 13:20, in Kalvarijos municipality, on Kęstučio street, at the junction with Aušros street, a collision with a moped occurred. The collision involved a BMW 7ER Reihe and a Yamaha Aerox. One person was injured — the 16-year-old driver of the Yamaha (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the BMW (4 years of driving experience), who failed to comply with road signs or markings. Both drivers were sober.
