On Wednesday, 14 October 2020, in the afternoon at 15:36, in Širvintų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 53.60), a BMW ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the BMW (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
