On Sunday, 18 October 2020, in the evening at around 18:00, in Marijampolės municipality, Narto village, on Suvalkiečių street near No. 49, an Opel ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Opel (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
