On Monday, 26 October 2020, in the evening at 17:10, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 447A, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Corolla and a Renault Espace. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 84-year-old driver of the Toyota (30 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
