On Thursday, 12 November 2020, in the afternoon at 16:59, in Kauno district municipality, Seniavos village, on Miestelėnų street, at the junction with Laurų street, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra-G-CC and a BMW 530D Xdrive. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Opel, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He was drunk (2.49‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, there was freezing rain, the road surface was wet.
