On Monday, 2 November 2020, in the evening at 20:10, in Klaipėda, on Taikos pr. near No. 139, a Chrysler 300C hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 22-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Chrysler (20 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 30 km/h.
