On Tuesday, 1 December 2020, in the evening at 18:30, in Kaunas, on Kretingos street near No. 3, a Volkswagen Transporter hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 59-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (10 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
