On Saturday, 19 December 2020, in the morning at 8:44, in Šakių district municipality, on V. Kudirkos street near No. 66, a Seat Toledo hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Seat, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
