On Sunday, 27 December 2020, at night at around 2:00, in Rietavo municipality, on the Kryžkalnis–Rietavas–Vėžaičiai national road (kilometre 60.15), an Audi A3 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Audi (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
