On Friday, 8 January 2021, at night at 23:10, in Kaunas, on Partizanų street near No. 50, in a yard, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat registered in Finland, an Audi 80 and a Ford Mondeo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.56‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
