On Wednesday, 13 January 2021, in the evening at 17:32, in Pasvalio district municipality, Norių village, on Ąžuolų street near No. 24, a Nissan Almera ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Nissan (25 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.15‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered.
