On Tuesday, 26 January 2021, in the evening at 19:28, in Pasvalio district municipality, on the Pasvalys–Vabalninkas regional road (kilometre 11.40), a Volvo FH 440 registered in Russia ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Volvo (8 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
