On Saturday, 30 January 2021, at night at around 3:00, in Rietavo municipality, Spraudžio village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 264.30), an Audi A6 rolled over. Two people were injured — the 36-year-old driver of the Audi (hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt) and a 33-year-old passenger of the Audi (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Audi (19 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was snowing, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
