On Wednesday, 10 February 2021, in the morning at around 10:00, in Panevėžys, on Vyčių street near No. 17B, a Volvo XC70 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 42-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Volvo (20 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
