On Saturday, 6 February 2021, in the afternoon at 12:19, in Varėnos district municipality, Paąžuolės village, on the Vydeniai–Dubičiai–Rakai regional road (kilometre 16), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi Allroad Quattro and a Citroen Jumper. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Audi (less than a year of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. Both drivers were sober.
