On Thursday, 18 February 2021, in the evening at 18:35, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 68.05), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW, a BMW and a Mercedes-Benz. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the BMW (5 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.03‰ blood alcohol).
