On Saturday, 27 February 2021, in the morning at around 10:00, in Klaipėda, on Minijos street, at the junction with 180 street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Skoda and a DAF FAD 95XF.480 registered in Latvia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Skoda (30 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
