On Monday, 8 March 2021, in the morning at 7:10, in Prienų district municipality, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai main road (kilometre 34.10), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320, a Schwarzmuller, a BMW 1er Reihe and a Volvo FH. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the BMW 320 (18 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. All drivers were sober.
