On Sunday, 4 April 2021, in the evening at 18:54, in Biržų district municipality, on the Pandėlys–Aukštadvaris–Kvetkai regional road (kilometre 14.95), a Peugeot 307 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Peugeot (5 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.11‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
