On Monday, 19 April 2021, in the evening at 17:10, in Prienų district municipality, on F. Martišiaus street near No. 38, a collision while turning right occurred. The collision involved a Chrysler PT Cruiser, a Schmitz Cargobull SKO24 registered in Poland and a DAF FT XF95 registered in Poland. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 42-year-old passenger of the Chrysler, who committed traffic rule violations that contributed to the accident. He was drunk (1.71‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. The driver was sober. A 51-year-old passenger of the Chrysler was drunk (2.74‰). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
