On Monday, 3 May 2021, in the morning at 8:20, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 130), a BMW hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the BMW (13 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
