On Thursday, 6 May 2021, in the evening at 19:43, in Kaunas, on Jonavos street near No. 3, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW and a Ford Fiesta. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the BMW (20 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.26‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
