On Monday, 21 June 2021, in the evening at 17:55, in Zarasų district municipality, Kalbutiškių village, on the Lukšiai–Kalbutiškės–Dusetos regional road (kilometre 6.05), an Audi 80 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.89‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
