On Tuesday, 29 June 2021, in the evening at 17:25, in Kauno district municipality, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 6.36), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Chevrolet Captiva and an Opel Corsa. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Chevrolet (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober.
