On Saturday, 3 July 2021, at night at 23:20, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on Vytauto Didžiojo street near No. 32, at the junction with Vilniaus street, a BMW 5ER Reihe ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the BMW (6 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.87‰ blood alcohol). A 33-year-old passenger of the BMW was drunk (3.93‰). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
