On Tuesday, 6 July 2021, in the afternoon at 15:30, in Panevėžio district municipality, Sujetų village, on S. Nėries street near No. 16, a truck ran off the road. One person was injured — the 31-year-old driver of a truck (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of a truck, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.67‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
