On Tuesday, 6 July 2021, in the evening at around 22:00, in Prienų district municipality, Skriaudžių village, on Draugystės street near No. 24, a MTZ Belarus-820 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 58-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 61-year-old driver of the MTZ (33 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (0.56‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
