On Wednesday, 7 July 2021, in the evening at 17:30, in Vilnius, on Žirmūnų street near No. 89A, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Citroen C3 and a Setra S 431 DT. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Citroen (25 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
