On Friday, 9 July 2021, in the evening at 20:23, in Rokiškio district municipality, on the Bajorai–Gediškiai–Rakališkis regional road (kilometre 10.95), a BMW 530 hit an obstacle. Two people were injured — the 45-year-old driver of the BMW (treated as an outpatient) and a 33-year-old passenger of the BMW (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the BMW (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.76‰ blood alcohol). A 33-year-old passenger of the BMW was drunk (2.40‰). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
