On Monday, 12 July 2021, in the evening at 17:30, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 42), a Scania ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Scania (20 years of driving experience), who exceeded the speed set by traffic rules or road signs.
