On Friday, 16 July 2021, in the morning at around 8:00, in Kelmės district municipality, Plūsčių village, on the Kiti keliai local road (kilometre 1.60), an Opel Astra-G ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Opel (7 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
