On Sunday, 25 July 2021, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Tauragės district municipality, on Gedimino street near No. 44, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 307 and a Mercedes-Benz registered in France. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
