On Friday, 6 August 2021, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Dauparų village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 297), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mueller Mitteltal, a Volvo FH and a Volvo V70. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Mueller (29 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
