On Monday, 9 August 2021, in the morning at 7:19, in Kaunas, on R. Kalantos street near No. 81, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen and a Volkswagen Passat. Two people were injured — the 27-year-old driver of the Volkswagen Passat (hospitalized) and a 27-year-old passenger of the Volkswagen Passat (treated as an outpatient).
