On Sunday, 15 August 2021, in the evening at around 22:00, in Skuodo district municipality, on Sportininkų street, at the junction with Svarainių street, an Opel Corsa ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Opel (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
